Banat - Momacko nadigravanje

Momacko nadigravanje is a young men's competition dance.

Bunjevacki plesovi

These dances are performed Bunjevac Croats who live in Northern Vojvodina. The characteristics of these dances are beautifully embroidered female dresses and a rattling sound made by the dancers' boots accompanied by the rhythm of their steps.

Lindjo

Linđo is the most popular dance of the Dubrovnik region, danced to the accompaniment of lijerica. The dance master plays sitting, with lijerica on his left knee, while stamping with his right foot, thus dictating rhythm to the dancers. They move in a circle around the dance master, who gives commands (in rhyme, humorous and often with double meaning).

Posavski plesovi (Dances from Posavina)

Dances from the area of the river Sava. Ducec, Staro sito and Drmes are lively dances with plenty of singing during their performance, which is typical for north Croatian folk dances.

Licko kolo (Dance from Lika)

Ličko kolo is one of the "nijemo" (silent) dances found in the Dinaric Mountain area of Croatia. They are termed silent dances because they are danced without instrumental accompaniment; the only sounds being when the feet make contact with the floor, the rhythmic "chink, chink, chink" of the women's coin necklaces, the dancers' voices as they sing, and the leader's calls.

Vrlicko kolo

It is still performed on festive occasions around Vrlika - a locality situated in Dalmatian inland, next to Cetina river. The dance is performed without musical accompaniment and dancers give the rhythm by thumping their feet on the ground. The performance depicts the hard life on bare land as well as the strength of people who live there.
